1/3/2024 0 Comments 2016 chevy equinox![]() ![]() The Equinox is offered in a streamlined lineup of L, LS, LT, and LTZ models the L will likely be fleet-minded and is front-wheel-drive only, while the rest of the lineup offers available all-wheel drive. Both that engine or the available 301-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 come paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.4-liter direct-injection inline-4, making 182 hp, is one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its class-and plenty quick for most family needs, while it renews its 32-mpg EPA highway rating in front-wheel-drive guise. What's under the hood doesn't change this year, and that's fine. Fabrics have been redesigned on the L and LS models while there's a new Saddle Up interior color. As for the interior, the Equinox gets an equivalent brightening, with new chrome shift buttons, new graphics for the instrument panel, a redesigned center stack with a new storage shelf. Otherwise the Equinox continues with essentially the same handsome sheet metal and profile it's had since 2010-which has aged quite well, considering. The top LTZ gets new fog lamps, while V-6 models get chrome exhaust outlets additionally new wheels, revised lower fascias, and more brightwork all around serve to update the look. Yet the Equinox has managed to woo busy parents even more effectively with maneuverability, excellent fuel economy, and an interior that's just a little bit larger and more configurable than what you get in most other compact crossovers.Ĭhevrolet vehicles have been given a new dual-port grille design over the past couple of years, and now the Equinox steps in with the rest of the lineup accompanying the new grille is a more sculpted lower front fascia design, as well as new reflector-style headlamps on all models, with LED running lamps on the LT and LTZ. Compact utility vehicles in general have been all the rage, with lots of families trading in sedans in favor of them. ![]()

This was Byrne's way of essentially bringing Wonder Woman's Pre- Crisis history with the Justice Society back into continuity. Thanks for watching Check back for more Unboxings, Guides & GameplaySubscribe To Our Channel. Her mother Hippolyta, however, lacked the power to fly, and used the Lansinarian Morphing Disk herself when she masqueraded as the "Golden Age" Wonder Woman upon traveling back to the past. Wonder Woman's own use of the vehicle was rather questionable due to her incredible speed and Post- Crisis ability to fly, both granted by the Greek god Hermes. The Invisible Plane Was Introduced In The 1940s Wonder Woman’s jet has been with her since the very beginning. Peter during an era where flight wasn’t a de facto superpower in comics. Upon discovering this, she would have it take several forms, including chariots and other vehicle, all of which had the power to cloak themselves and their occupants with invisibility. In Wonder Womans early days, Diana’s plane was originally conceived of by Wonder Woman creators William Moulton Marston and Harry G. The Lansinarians later give the creature, in the form of a jet, to Wonder Woman as a reward for saving them, though she didn't realize at first that it was in fact alive. The Invisible Plane was a creation of Dianas during her younger years on Paradise Island. The crystal egg/disk creature had shapeshifting powers, which it used to help the Lansinarians and accommodate their lack of sight. While Diana was gifted with the power of flight, situations that required transporting groups of people or cargo made the jet exceptionally useful, even in space travel. This months countdown celebration to Wonder Womans 70th Anniversary is a montage of Wonder Womans wonderous Invisible plane. Although jets had been deployed by both the Allies and the Germans in WWII, they were not yet well-known, so Wonder Woman's first invisible plane was propelled by a prop. It first appeared in Sensation Comics 1, just a few months after Wonder Woman herself. It eventually came into contact with the Lansinarians, who were a race of blind creatures that lived underground on Earth. The Invisible Plane is Wonder Woman's primary mode of transportation for long distance travel. Wonder Woman's first means of flight was her (in)famous Invisible Plane. This creature was an alien that resembled a crystal egg that had become separated from its family while traversing the galaxy. The creature that would become the modern version of the Invisible Jet debuted in Wonder Woman #115, where it was introduced by legendary creator John Byrne. ![]() 1/3/2024 0 Comments Coherence vs cohesion![]() ![]() The concepts are taught one at a time, practised, and then the student's product is produced sometimes it is peer assessed, (as learning), sometimes assessed formatively, (for learning) by the teacher, and periodically assessed summatively. The following series of writing lessons are simple, explicit, easy for teachers to activate & easy for students to apply. Since then, as a teacher I have developed some lessons to demystify and clarify the process of writing unified and cohesive texts which are also coherent. One teacher, one, gave me the keys to clarity, to the enlightened way. And, different teachers used different terms to describe qualities of writing but often did not distinguish different types for different purposes, such as analytic versus opinion formats and styles. ![]() As a Student, up until grade 12, it was frustrating trying to learn the writing process, mostly because it was never shown to me explicitly. I have been there as both a student and as a teacher. This can set the stage for their own metacognitive analysis of their own and others' writing. Once they can do it, they will begin to perceive similar aspects in their reading. One teacher using a clear, methodical approach can clarify the writing process and give students communication strategies that can be the foundation for most of their future writing - and reading. It often seems daunting - even overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be. It might seem straight forward planning and writing to the teacher, but for the student trying to sort out and clarify the new and numerous terms, as well as apply their growing knowledge of vocabulary, syntax and discourse conventions, it is a struggle to try to put all of this together to write something that merely expresses their ideas. But it gets worse for them when different teachers use different terms and diagrams and teach using differing praxis and procedures. In teaching these concepts to students, teachers often use graphic organizers: flow charts, spider maps, idea trees, concept webs, Venn diagrams and more. Worse, while struggling to identify what these new concepts of unity, coherence and cohesion mean, and then how to apply them, they are often given new terms and objectives such as making their writing concise, or persuasive or to make it flow. Students are often urged to have a main focus or some main ideas, to provide supporting "details" and a hook, a powerful final point, a summary and a conclusion. Students often become turbulent pools of anxiety trying to make their writing coherent and cohesive, mostly because no one explicitly teaches what they are. ![]() 1/3/2024 0 Comments Ryobi 18 volt![]() When I was at Home Depot they happened to have a sale on a compact impact driver with two batteries and a charger. The choice of points used to draw trend lines will affect the degree to which they accurately represent market cycles and real trends, making them somewhat subjective.įor instance, some chartists draw trend lines based on the body of the candlesticks, disregarding the wicks. While they are useful tools for technical analysis, trend lines are far from foolproof. Each type of chart may result in different highs and lows and, thus, slightly different trend lines. It’s important to consider the scale settings when drawing trend lines. On a semi-log chart, however, the 100% gain ($5 to $10) would occupy a much larger portion of the chart, as opposed to the 4% increase of the $120 to $125 move. In contrast, semi-log charts express variations in terms of percentage.įor example, a price change from $5 to $10 would cover the same distance on an arithmetic chart as one from $120 to $125. ![]() On an arithmetic chart, change is expressed evenly as the price moves up or down the Y-axis. The two most popular scales are arithmetic and semi-logarithmic (semi-log). In financial charts, the scale relates to the manner in which the change in price is displayed. Among the most important chart settings is the scale settings. In addition to choosing enough points to create a valid trend line, it’s important to consider proper settings when drawing them. Testing the trend line multiple times indicates that maybe the trend is not a mere coincidence caused by price fluctuations. So, when the price touches the trend line three or more times without breaching it, the trend can be considered valid. In some cases, the first two points can be used to define a trend in potential, and the third point (extended in the future) can be used to test its validity. But, most chartists agree that using three points or more is what makes a trend line valid. Technically, trend lines can connect any two points in a chart. Thus, it may be worth combining multiple TA techniques, as well as fundamental analysis to reduce risks. Still, technical analysis is a subjective field, and each person may present a completely different method for drawing trend lines. ![]() Downward trend lines are associated with consistent price drops, suggesting the opposite (supply is higher than demand). Naturally, upward trend lines indicate an increasing buying force (demand is higher than supply). They provide insights into the market supply and demand. While trend lines can be used in all kinds of data charts, they are usually applied to financial charts (based on market prices). The trend line may be tested several times, but as long as it isn’t broken, it is considered valid. The line can then be extended to try and predict important levels in the future. On the other hand, downtrend lines are drawn using the highest values (i.e., candlestick tops forming lower highs).īased on the highs and lows of a chart, trend lines indicate where the price briefly challenged the prevailing trend, tested it, and then turned back in its favor. In an uptrend, the lines will be drawn using the lowest points in the chart (i.e., candlestick bottoms forming higher lows). So, the difference between the two types of lines is the selection of the points that are used to draw them. ![]() |
